Specialist Engineer - Yacht Equipment
Join a world-leading superyacht builder as a Specialist Engineer responsible for the technical design and integration of hydraulic and exterior systems. You’ll ensure that critical components such as hatches, mooring systems, exterior stairs, and propulsion equipment meet the highest engineering and production standards.

Vacancy information
- Design and develop 3D models and technical drawings for hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations and project specifications.
- Conduct technical and manufacturability assessments for moving and structural components.
- Provide solutions for integration issues between hull, systems, and outfitting.
- Coordinate with production, suppliers, and project leads to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of hydraulic and exterior systems.

What do you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Naval, or Maritime Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in shipbuilding or yacht construction.
- Proficiency with 3D AutoCAD, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and/or Cadmatic.
- Strong knowledge of shipbuilding production processes.
- Proven expertise in hatches, hydraulics, mooring, exterior stairs, and propulsion systems.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
