Senior Engineer – Yacht Equipment
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to take ownership of a dedicated product group in the development of custom yacht equipment for luxury superyachts ranging from 35 to 120 meters. From swim platforms to gangways, each piece of equipment must meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

Vacature informatie
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complete production drawing packages for yacht equipment within planning, budget, and technical specifications. You will be responsible for mechanical and structural design, calculation, and coordination of internal and external engineering efforts. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to technically advanced projects and work across various stages of superyacht construction—from engineering to installation.
You will report to the Lead Engineer and work as part of a multidisciplinary product group within the Engineering department.
Your role will involve:
- Deliver high-quality engineering and production drawing packages on time and within budget.
- Perform mechanical and structural calculations to ensure the integrity and functionality of equipment.
- Guide and coordinate external engineers and junior team members within your product group.
- Review and check engineering packages prepared by colleagues before final release by the Lead Engineer.
- Contribute to 3D design and development using CAD tools (preferably SolidEdge).
- Ensure the designs meet project specifications, class standards, and internal quality requirements.
- Support production, installation, and commissioning teams with technical input and troubleshooting when needed.

Wat heb je nodig
- HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in yacht building, maritime industry, or mechanical equipment manufacturing.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design (experience with SolidEdge is a plus).
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Currently living in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
