Privacy Statement

U-People processes personal data of candidates, (interim) professionals, business relations and website visitors in the context of its services.

We only process data that is necessary for recruitment & selection, mediation, contract formation, administration and compliance with laws and regulations (GDPR). This includes, among other things, name and contact details, CV, work experience, availability and, where applicable, data for payroll, identification and screening (such as a Certificate of Good Conduct).

U-People works in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and relevant industry standards, including NEN 4400-1 / SNA. Our processes are designed for correct payroll processing, file management and full compliance.

Collection of data

We obtain personal data through direct registration, contact moments (online and offline), public sources (such as LinkedIn) and through our website (for example when registering for job alerts or newsletters).

Purposes of processing

Personal data is processed solely for:

  • assessment of suitability and availability
  • communication about vacancies and services
  • entering into and performing agreements
  • administration and payroll
  • compliance with legal obligations

Sharing of data

We only share personal data with clients, partners or service providers if this is necessary for our services or if we are legally obliged to do so. Where applicable, data may be processed outside the Netherlands with appropriate safeguards.

Retention periods

  • Candidates & professionals: maximum 24 months after last contact
  • After assignment: 24 months (financial data: 7 years)
  • Business relations: maximum 5 years
  • Website data: maximum 24 months

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data. Requests can be sent to: privacy@upeople.nl.
