Senior Mechanical Engineer
Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a passion for high-end shipbuilding? We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading yacht builder and contribute to the design, integration and delivery of complex mechanical systems onboard luxury vessels.

Vacature informatie
In this role, you will work on a wide range of mechanical systems, guiding your team through the engineering process, from 3D modelling to onboard implementation. You support the Senior Project Engineer and collaborate closely with production and suppliers.
- Oversee the final design, detailed engineering, and 3D modeling to ensure accuracy and quality
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with classification societies, flag states, and client specifications
- Provide practical support to production and solve technical issues during construction
- Coach junior engineers and align engineering output across disciplines
- Improve technical standards and engineering processes where needed
Wat wij bieden
- Salary up to €76,000 per year

Wat heb je nodig
- Bsc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of engineering experience in shipbuilding
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and integration
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and ideally Cadmatic
- Familiar with system routing, weight estimation, and equipment positioning
- Good command of the English language
