Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plays a crucial role in the successful development, operation and maintenance of complex technical systems. Developed in collaboration with experienced ILS specialists from Defence sector, the training content aligns closely with current working methods, standards and requirements used within Defence programmes and their supply chain partners. As a result, the course offers a practical and relevant introduction to ILS for both newcomers and experienced professionals.

- The fundamentals of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and supportability throughout the system life cycle
- Methodologies such as FMECA, LSA and LORA
- S-Series specifications, including S1000D, S2000M and S3000L
- The role of data, PDM and ERP systems within ILS
- The Defence Materiel Process, from requirements definition to disposal
The training consists of 7 modules and combines theory with practical examples, interactive learning elements and knowledge assessments.

Do I need prior knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support?
No. The course is suitable for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of ILS. At the same time, it also provides valuable insights for experienced professionals who wish to refresh or broaden their knowledge.

How long does the ILS training take?
The complete e-learning consists of seven modules and takes approximately 3 to 8 hours to complete. Participants can study entirely at their own pace and return to previous modules whenever they wish during the access period.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes. Participants who successfully complete the knowledge assessments with a minimum score of 75% receive an official ILS Foundation Certificate issued by the U-People Academy.
Can I follow the training anywhere?
Yes. Because the course is fully online, you can access it anytime and from anywhere using a computer, tablet or laptop with an internet connection

Absolutely. This training has been specifically developed for organisations that supply products, systems or services to Defence or are involved in Defence-related projects.
