Who should attend the ILS Foundation & Practice training?
This training is designed for engineers, project managers, maintenance engineers, systems engineers, procurement professionals, consultants and other technical specialists working in Defence, shipbuilding, offshore, maritime engineering or high-tech industries. No prior knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is required.
What topics are covered during the training?
Depending on your organisation's objectives, the training may include topics such as the design and implementation of ILS processes, Integrated Product Support (IPS), Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), the S-Series specifications (including S1000D, S2000M and S3000L), Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RAM), Obsolescence Management, Asset Management, Lifecycle Management, maintenance concepts, support strategies, and the integration of ILS with engineering, project management and operations.
What is the difference between the ILS e-learning and the ILS classroom training?
The classroom training covers the same fundamental principles as the e-learning course but provides additional depth through interactive discussions and direct guidance from an experienced ILS specialist. This enables participants to immediately apply their knowledge within their own organisation and projects.
How long does the ILS Foundation & Practice training take?
The training is delivered in one full day, from 09:00 to 16:30, combining theory with practical examples.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the training?
Yes. All participants receive the official ILS Foundation Certificate issued by the U-People Academy after completing the training.
Can the training also be delivered in-company?
Yes. The training can be delivered either at your own premises or at a dedicated external training location.
