How did U-People help you find your new job?
I had applied for a position via the U-People website. During the intake interview with the U-People consultant, they presented a position that better matched my experience, wishes, and skills. This was the Piping Manufacturing Engineer position at a shipbuilding company.
After the interview, the consultant introduced me to the shipbuilding company. After conducting multiple job interviews via both Teams and on-site in the Netherlands, I was hired.
What has been the most enjoyable or surprising aspect of your new job and/or work environment so far?
The best aspect of my new job is the friendly environment and the friendly relationship with all my colleagues. They are all more than willing to support me whenever needed.
How would you describe your experience working with U-People?
The collaboration with U-People was very nice. I appreciate the constant support from the Recruitment Consultants and the administration department.
What do you think U-People did well?
They understand that moving from one country to another is a big step. And since I moved with my whole family, the step was perhaps even bigger. That is why they supported me at every stage of my integration into the Netherlands. They helped me find new housing, made an appointment for my initial registration in the Netherlands, submitted an application for the Expat Scheme, and so on.
Would you recommend U-People to other candidates?
