Vacancy information
As a Basic Engineer Shipbuilding / Yacht Building, you will be part of an enthusiastic engineering team responsible for the design, integration, and development of engine room installations and piping systems. You will contribute to a variety of projects, including luxury yachts, cargo vessels, offshore ships, dredgers, and ferries.
Working under the guidance of the Lead Engineer, you will be involved in both basic and detailed engineering. You ensure proper coordination between disciplines, maintain technical consistency, and safeguard the quality of all design deliverables.
Your responsibilities:
- Process foundations and piping systems into spools and working drawings
- Coordinate, guide, and check design and drafting work
- Manage hours and schedules in F2P (engineering software)
- Deliver drawings to clients and handle their technical feedback
- Support the Lead Engineer in project progress and design integration

What do you need
- Bachelor’s or vocational degree (HBO/MBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or Maritime Technology
- Some experience or strong interest in ship or yacht engineering
- Knowledge of Cadmatic and AutoCAD is an advantage
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and communicative
- Responsible, energetic, and pragmatic team player
