In this role, you are responsible for the electrical design of onboard power systems from concept to project execution. You work on technically complex maritime projects where reliability, safety and efficiency are critical.

Specific duties in this role include: 

  • Designing electrical power systems based on customer requirements and maritime regulations
  • Developing solutions for power generation, storage and distribution, including hybrid systems
  • Ensuring technical solutions are delivered within agreed scope, budget and planning
  • Identifying deviations or risks within the project scope and proactively addressing them
  • Reporting on progress and ensuring transparent communication within the project team

We have this role in several locations in the Netherlands! 

What do you need

We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineer with a strong interest in maritime power systems. You enjoy working on complex electrical designs and feel comfortable taking responsibility within a project-driven environment.

  • BSc degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Several years of experience as a hardware or electrical engineer
  • Experience with power generation and power distribution systems
  • Knowledge of maritime electrical systems and regulations
  • Professional working proficiency in English
