Electrical Technical Specialist (ship repair projects)
Do you have a strong background in maritime electrical systems and a passion for innovation? We are looking for an Electrical Technical Expert to optimize and maintain navigation and communication systems on vessels for a leading company in the offshore industry.

As Electrical Technical Specialist, you will design, maintain, and improve electrical systems with a focus on maritime navigation and communication equipment. As a key link between internal teams and external suppliers, you’ll ensure all systems meet the highest standards of safety and maritime regulations.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and repair facilities for crane-related technical issues.
- Help internal teams troubleshoot issues and propose improvements.
- Prepare work orders to keep equipment reliable and in top condition.
- Stay updated on radar and communication systems for our fleet.
- Define maintenance and repair standards to ensure cost-efficiency.

What do you need
- Bachelor or a Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of maritime navigation and communication systems and related regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in the office (80% of the time) and on-site during project execution phases.
- Flexible to relocate to Belgium.
