Marine Service Engineer | Luxury Yachts | Florida
For a premium yacht builder with a strong and growing presence in South Florida, we are looking for an experienced Marine Service Engineer based in the Miami / Fort Lauderdale area.
You will support a fleet of high-end performance yachts operating throughout Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and occasionally the Caribbean. This is a hands-on technical role within one of the most dynamic yachting regions in the world.

The company is known worldwide for its craftsmanship, engineering quality and discreet service level. The South Florida operation is expanding and plays a key role in supporting an exclusive client base in the United States and Caribbean
Vacancy information
As a Marine Service Engineer, you ensure that luxury yachts operate safely, reliably and at peak technical performance. You work independently at the Miami service location and directly on-site with yacht owners and captains.
You are the first technical point of contact and represent a European premium brand known for craftsmanship and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work at the Miami service hub and on client locations across South Florida
- Diagnose and service propulsion systems including Volvo Penta IPS and high-performance marine engines
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and onboard electronic systems
- Carry out commissioning, sea trials and system upgrades
- Install technical improvements and new onboard systems
- Communicate professionally with yacht owners, captains and crew
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records

What do you need
- Minimum 3 years of marine service experience
- Strong knowledge of propulsion systems (Volvo Penta IPS experience preferred)
- Experience with marine electrical, navigation and onboard systems
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and work client-facing
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally
You combine technical precision with a service-oriented mindset and understand the expectations of high-end yacht owners.
What do you need
- Minimum 3 years of marine service experience
- Strong knowledge of propulsion systems (Volvo Penta IPS experience preferred)
- Experience with marine electrical, navigation and onboard systems
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and work client-facing
