Our client is an international construction company specialized in the execution of large and complex marine infrastructure projects.

In this position, you will oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution for complex ship repair and conversion projects while maintaining alignment with production priorities.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Evaluate and approve completed job packages from technical engineers.
- Develop comprehensive, integrated schedules that allocate required skills, resources, and tools for each project.
- Coordinate the preparation process and provide specific schedules to Technical Supervisors for Fleet Intervention projects.
- Monitor daily progress during execution phases and implement corrective measures to expedite project timelines as needed.
- Ensure smooth project starts by coordinating safety audits, tool availability, and site readiness.
- Act as the leader for small repair jobs in the absence of the Project Manager, providing direct coordination for Technical Supervisors.

What do you need
For this position, we are looking for a meticulous planner with excellent leadership skills. Additionally, the following requirements must be met:
- A technical education and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid technical knowledge of ship repair and conversion processes.
- Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships with vessels, vessel management teams, and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in the office during project preparation (7 to 9 months/year) and on-site during project execution phases.
- Flexible to relocate to Belgium.
