Our client is a leading international company operating in the luxury yacht and maritime industry, recognized for delivering bespoke, high-end vessels that combine innovative engineering, exceptional craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology.

Vacancy information

As a Draughtsman, you will design and develop the mechanical systems that power high-end, custom-built yachts. Working closely with Project Managers, Production Engineers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute to innovative engineering solutions from concept through final delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, plumbing, and other onboard installations.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
  • Develop piping layouts, routing plans, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Production Engineers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Translate technical requirements into practical, high-quality engineering designs.
  • Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Provide technical support during the production and installation phases, resolving engineering challenges as they arise.
  • Continuously improve designs and contribute to innovative, tailor-made engineering solutions for each unique project.

What do you need

  • Bachelor's (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years' experience, or MBO with 5+ years' experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 2D/3D CAD software
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Independent, proactive, and team-oriented
